I was also very excited when I read about that movie. Now, not so much. 10000 BC is not very good (nor offensively bad) but it has a fascinating story.
Thank you for saving me 90 minutes of my life. This movie would have been catnip for me otherwise. Sounds like a prehistoric (and not nearly as well thought out) version of Barbarian.
Except that Barbarian was at least fun and full of truly surprising twists and digressions. And had a real monster. Abd a real real monster. And characters. And a story. And inspired direction.
